If your cabin fever is getting unbearable – head to the library for an outing. Browse through our collection of gardening books to get in the mood for warmer weather. Find a great book to get you through the tail end of winter. Check out some dvds for a movie night. Bring along a buddy or two and play one of our board games. Use one of our computers, or bring your laptop and use our wifi Internet connection. Sit and read a magazine or just enjoy the beautiful view of the Hudson River. Or just visit with the friendly librarians. We’ll be looking for you.

We have a beautiful new rug in the basement which makes our Children’s Room and the Hudson River Room look great! We also have a new floor in the bathroom that is beautiful and will be much easier to keep clean. Thanks to Country Carpets for a wonderful job. Thanks to the Southern Adirondack Library System for the loan of the book carts to help with moving the books. And thanks to our crew of staff and volunteers for all their hard work – Mica, Marcus, Beth, Ted, Abby, Ares, Paula and Michael.
