Budget Planning
President Franklin Bennek called the meeting to order at 7:02 PM.
Members present: Franklin Bennek, Jane Pingelski, Cathy Lozier, Mo Kelly, Rose Farr, Brittney Campbell, and Library Director Rebecca Fasulo.
2024 budget was discussed line by line with cost projections for 2025. A final budget for 2025 was completed and will be voted on by the board at the January 6th meeting. It was noted that our lighting system will need to be updated in the near future to using LED bulbs, as our current fluorescent bulbs are being discontinued. Mo suggested we check with National Grid to see if they assess lighting systems, update to LEDs, and offer a grant to help with the cost. Becky will explore this possibility. If not, we will need to allow for this project in planning our 2026 budget.
