And so we come to the end of the year 2018.
December 1 during Hometown Holidays we will be having a Book Sale from 10-4. At 10:30 we will be building a Gigantic Marble Maze.
December 3 at 7pm is a short special meeting of the Board of Trustees followed by a budget workshop.
We will be closed for Christmas on December 24 & 25.
We will be closed for New Years on December 31 & January 1.
Time flies! Here we are halfway through November and I’m just catching up.
Saturday November 17 we will be celebrating International Gaming Day by playing board games from 10:30-3:30. We have a large number of games here and people are always welcome to bring a favorite game from home to play. Come with your family, come with your friends, come alone and join someone here, play one game or twenty! It’s very open ended – just have fun. We will also have a jigsaw puzzle set up for people to work on.
Tuesday November 20 at 7 pm will be the last program in the series Reuniting a Community With Its History: Three Centuries of Life and Work on the Hudson River in Corinth. This will be a Community Conversation On the Hudson River facilitated by Stephen Cernek of the Hudson River Museum Project. It provides an opportunity to discuss ideas about current and future uses of the Hudson River in Corinth. The project featured a series of seven public programs that explored the social, cultural and economic importance of the Hudson River in Corinth’s history. They were offered in conjunction with the installation of three interpretive historic panels along the Hudson by the Village of Corinth, with support provided by the Hudson River Community Credit Union.

Monday November 26 at 7 pm is Science Monday. Join us as we play around with science concepts using a variety of fun tools like Legos, robots, and mazes.
The Library will be closed on Monday October 8 for Columbus Day.
The Corinth Free Library in conjunction with Stephen Cernek of the Hudson River Mill Museum has received an Action Grant from Humanities New York to support a series of public programs called Reuniting a Community With Its History: Three Centuries of Life and Work on the Hudson River in Corinth. Saturday October 20 at 11am: Stephen Cernek will lead a “Walking Tour along the Hudson River from the Corinth Beach to Pagenstecher Park.”
Tuesday October 30 at 7pm: Stephen Cernek presents “Three Centuries of Commerce and Industry on the Hudson River at Corinth.”
