September news

The library is closed Monday September 6 for Labor Day.

Tuesday September 7 our hours will be 10am-1pm & 7pm-8:30pm. Staff will be at the CCS Elementary Pop-up Event in the afternoon where we will hand out free books to children.

There will be a 4 week long session of Story Time programs beginning Thursday September 16 at 10:30am. These programs are for young children and their caregivers. They will take place outside on the library’s back lawn. There is no advanced registration. Bring a blanket or towel to sit on and watch for any weather-related cancelations.

Our Farm 2 Library program continues in September. Food deliveries are on Thursdays. Stop in and help yourself to free produce. We love providing this service to you with our partners Comfort Food Community and the Southern Adirondack Library System.

Schedule change

The library will open at 1pm on Monday August 30, 2021. This is to allow staff to attend a funeral. Hours that day will be 1pm-5pm & 7pm-8:30pm.

Masks required inside the library

Due to recent recommendations by CDC and Saratoga County Health the library is requiring all people to wear face masks while inside our building.

Saratoga County is experiencing a high level of COVID-19 community transmission, fueled by the spread of the highly contagious B.1.617.2 (Delta) variant. Saratoga County Public Health Services (SCPHS) recommends that, at this time, all individuals—fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated, and unvaccinated–wear a mask when indoors with people who are not members of their own household, outdoors in crowded settings, and when engaging in activities that involve close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.
