Next Steps

Our re-opening plan includes a phased approach to returning to normal library service. As we all know, anything can change at any time so our plans may change as well.

The library is now open to the public for limited inside access.  Services that are now available at the desk include faxing, photocopying, e-printing, catalog access, indoor pick up of materials, and library account services such as new cards.

Masks are required in the building.  Please maintain proper distancing while in the library.

Please continue to put all returned materials in the book drop.  Please do not bring us donations at this time!  We cannot manage donations right now.

Returns will be quarantined for 96 hours and then checked in. Don’t worry about items you’ve returned that are still on your account…they will come off the account after their quarantine is over.

Interlibrary loan services are running as normal at this time with requests coming from other libraries.

Curbside service will still be available for those who prefer it.  Also note that Fridays are for curbside service only with no one allowed in the building that day.

Service Hours Beginning July 27

  • Monday from 12pm to 4:30pm and 7pm to 8pm
  • Tuesday from11am to 4:30pm
  • Thursday from 12 noon to 4:30pm
  • Friday from 10am to 2:30pm ———CURBSIDE SERVICE ONLY

Thank you for your patience and support. We are looking forward to providing more services to you once again.

Please call the library if you have any questions (518-654-6913). If we can’t take your call leave a message that includes your name and phone number and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

For patrons needing disability accommodations while the library is operating under conditions to reduce the transmission of COVID-19, please call Rebecca Fasulo or Michael Hadfield at 518-654-6913, or write to cor-director@sals.edu or 89 Main St., Corinth, NY 12822.  You will also find this information in our Safety Plan.  The library is committed to safe access for all.”
