November 2020

Our strange year is slowly reaching its end. The leaves are gone, the sun is dipping low on the horizon, and the colder weather is flirting with us.

We remain open for browsing and public computer use. We remain limited in the number of people who can be in at any one time and therefore are not encouraging lengthy stays. Face masks are required while in the library and distancing is encouraged. Our browsing area is stocked with new books, children’s books, movies, audiobooks, graphic novels, and paperbacks. Not everything we own fits in that area, but we are very happy to help you find whatever you are looking for…if it is elsewhere in the building we will go get it for you and if it is at another library we will help you request it. We can help you make photocopies, send faxes, and make printouts.

We are still offering fresh produce thanks to the Farm 2 Library program. We receive weekly deliveries of fresh produce which is free for anyone to take. The program will suspend during the winter, but for now we are continuing to receive food.

Don’t forget our digital services. If you can’t or don’t want to come to the library there are digital books and audiobooks available through Overdrive…just connect through our website. You can also stream movies by clicking on the Kanopy icon on our website.

The library is closed for Veterans Day on Wednesday November 11 and for Thanksgiving on Thursday November 26.
