June

June is here!  Can summer be far behind?

The Summer Reading Program will kick off on Saturday June 24 at 11am.  The theme this summer is “The 7 Lively Arts” and kick off day starts with “Stained Glass” painting and we will begin our summer long project of castle building.  There will also be time to sign up to do your reading!  All ages can participate.

Monday June 26 Science Night at 7pm.  Join us for lots of science fun!

Wednesday June 28 – We will be at the Town of Corinth Fun Day from 3-5…come say hi and see what we bring.

Don’t forget story time for pre-school aged children is on Friday mornings at 10:30.

We are still in our regular hours…summer hours will start July 1st.

During the month of May join the conversation on our facebook page or at the library as we ask people what “Reading is…”

May 15th we are closed in the evening to attend SALS annual meeting.  Our hours that day are 11-5 only.

May 16th is the school budget vote, the library has a proposition on the budget.  Don’t forget to vote!  Also, Michael will be at the Elementary Open House that evening – stop and say hi!

May 22nd is Science Night!  Join us at 7pm for fun with science.

May 29th we are closed for Memorial Day.

Story Time is Friday mornings at 10:30.

April

April is National Poetry Month; we will be sharing poetry on our Facebook account all month.

Ask us about our Reading Without Walls challenge for the month of April – or check out our Facebook page.

The Board of Trustees meet on Monday April 3 at 7pm.

Story time for pre-school aged children is Fridays at 10:30 with the exception that there will be no story time on April 7.

The Corinth Free Library will have a display at the Spring Fun Day at Corinth Elementary on Saturday April 15 – check it out!

April 24 is Science Monday.  Join us at 7pm and have fun with science.  Let us know what you are interested in this month – rockets, legos, LilBits electronics, or robots.
