November

There will be a special story time on Monday November 16 at 6pm.  The guest reader is from the Corinth Elementary School.  Join us for some fun.

International Games Day is Saturday November 21.  We’ll be playing games from 11am – 3pm.  Stop in for some or all of that time.  We have several new games as well as old favorites.  Additionally we’ve just been notified that we have been selected to participate in “Global Gossip”, which is a world-wide version of the old party game “Telephone”. At 12:30, we’ll get a call from somewhere on the globe and given a phrase. We’ll whisper it to each other for 30 minutes, and then pass it along somewhere else. It’ll be interesting to see how the phrase changes as it’s passed along, especially since libraries from every continent are involved. (Yes, even the big, cold one down south!)

There is no Sunshine Circle on Tuesday the 17th, but join us on Tuesday the 24 at 3:30 for lively conversation.

Pre-school story time is on Fridays at 10:30.

The library will be closed on Thursday November 26 for Thanksgiving.

Yes we are…

Open, that is.  The barricades are up, the cement is poured, but we are open.  You can get in the front, but it might be easier to come in the back door.IMG_0780 IMG_0781 IMG_0782

Author Susanne Gervay

Internationally Acclaimed Author Susanne Gervay will be here tonight from 6:30-7:30.  In addition to being great stories, her books about Jack are a good resource for beginning discussions on bullying.

Australia is a long way to come for a visit, lets show some northern hospitality.

**Even though the sidewalk out front is being redone, we are open.  You can use the back entrance if there’s a lot of activity out front.**
