The screenings will be held on February 8 at 7pm, February 15 at 6pm, February 22 at 6pm, March 1 at 6pm, and March 8 at 6pm. All screenings are at the Corinth Free Library, 89 Main St., Corinth.
This program is made possible by a gift awarded to the library through the We the People Bookshelf national grant project. The library was one of 4,000 libraries across the country selected to receive a We the People Bookshelf grant, which provided free hardcover editions of 17 classic books on the theme of “A More Perfect Union.” The library also received bonus materials, including a DVD edition of “The Civil War,” the award-winning documentary by Ken Burns. The grant was awarded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) in cooperation with the American Library Association.
