Guidelines for curbside / sidewalk pick-up starting June 22, 2020

  • This is for pickup of library materials only.
  • All returns are to be made to the book drop.
  • NO DONATIONS of books or materials
  • To make requests:
    • Patrons can request materials through the catalog (https://pac.sals.edu/ ).  Click on the availability box next to the title of the item you looked up.  If Corinth is listed and the book is in, we should be able to get that for you quickly.  Click Place Request – you will need your library card barcode number and your password here (your password is probably the last four digits of your phone number).  Items requested that are not in will take longer to arrive as the Inter-Library Loan system will be slow at first.
    • Patrons can also make requests by phone (518-654-6913).  Staff will be available to take phone calls between 11am – 5pm Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday AND between 10am – 3pm Friday and Saturday.  A librarian can help you place requests and answer questions.  You can also request a “grab-bag” of children’s items for a surprise.
    • At this time there is a 15 item limit per card
    • If you will not be picking up the materials yourself, let us know who will be picking them up for you.  The pickup person will need to have your  library card with them for pickup as well as their own photo ID.
    • When your items are ready to be picked up you will get a call from the library to arrange for a scheduled day and time to get your materials.  Please arrive on time to help maintain proper distancing.
  • When you arrive to pick up your materials please wear a facemask, call (518-654-6913) or knock on the front or back door to let staff know you are here.
  • Staff wearing a facemask will bring your items out and ask to see your photo ID to verify your identity. We will ask you to make sure your requests are correct before you leave.

    • Monday 1-4 & 7-8
    • Tuesday 11-3
