Summer’s End

Despite the nice weather, summer is going fast.  We have one more week of summer hours.  We’ll be closed on Monday September 5 for Labor Day.  Tuesday September 6 we return to our regular hours (check the hours tab for details).

If you haven’t had a chance to pick up your summer reader packet, please do that this week.

Summer!

Summer is here at last, and soon our Summer Hours will return also.  Summer Hours begin on July 1st and remain in effect until after Labor Day.  Check the Hours and Directions Tab for details.

We will be closed on Monday July 4th for Independence Day.

Congratulations to all the graduates and their families!

Don’t forget to sign up for the Summer Reading Program.  It’s easy, fun, and can get you prizes!  Just click on the Summer Reading icon to get started.

May?

The calendar says May, but it sure doesn’t feel like it!

May 16 there will be no evening hours…we will be open from 11am-5pm only on that day.  Staff and board members will be attending the annual meeting of the Southern Adirondack Library System.

Michael will be at the Corinth Elementary School Open House on Tuesday evening, stop in and say hello and see what we’ll be doing this summer.  While you are at the school don’t forget to vote for the Corinth Free Library proposition on the School Budget.

Thursday May 19 from 2-4pm Michael will be holding a rocket demonstration and launch at the Corinth High School Football Field.  The larger space allows for larger rockets to be flown.  The first hour will be set up and test launches, and the second hour will (weather permitting) be when the big rockets fly.  It should be fun!

Monday May 23 at 6pm is this month’s PTSA reading event.  As always there will be a special guest reader, lots of stories and fun.

Pre-school story time is on Friday mornings at 10:30.

We will be closed on Monday May 30 for Memorial Day.
