Summer?

It’s almost gone!  The Summer Reading Wrap-up Party is this Saturday at 11am.  If you’ve got books that you need to report on let us know before Saturday.

Our wireless router died, so we have been without wireless service since Monday.  We are hopeful to be back up later today (8/19/10).  The new wireless router is here and we are back up – yay!!

A bird drops in

bird visitorstunned visitorWe had an unexpected visitor today. A little bird came knocking at our back door – crashed into it actually. I think it was a pretty unsuccessful early flight for the little guy. I picked him up off his back and we all watched out for him till he got his wits back. After he seemed more with it, I shepherded him over to a more hospitible environment under some bushes. Isn’t he cute?
