May 2021

It’s Spring, people are getting vaccinated, and the library is easing some restrictions.

Our browse area has been expanded with more access to movies, audiobooks, large print books, young adult books, science fiction / fantasy and biographies. Additionally we are now allowing access to our Children’s Room; this is by appointment only. 30 minute appointments are available on the hour from 11am until one hour before closing. One family or group at a time. Please call or stop in to schedule a time. (518-654-6913)

Face masks are still required while in the library. You are also encouraged to maintain a safe distance from others while in the building and to make use of our hand sanitizing stations. To help in social distancing the total number of people allowed in the building at one time is capped at 18.

Farm 2 Library produce is available free for pickup whenever the library is open. New deliveries of food arrive each week.

Want to attract Monarch Butterflies to your yard? Take home one of our kits to grow milkweed and learn more about Monarchs.

Computer use, fax & copy services, and reference help are all still available. Downloadable ebooks and audiobooks and streaming movie services are still available through our website.

The Library will be closed on Monday May 31 for Memorial Day.

Farm 2 Library is Back!

We are once again sharing produce thanks to the Comfort Food Community and the Southern Adirondack Library System. The produce is free and there are no eligibility requirements. Please stop in and check it out.

Yum!
Good for you!
